Creating A Marketing Plan For Your Business

CUTTING EDGE BUSINESS WITH CUTTING EDGE PRODUCTS

Here's a great strategy to get the most out of your time when creating a marketing plan for your business. Your target time should only be approximately 1-2 hours per day on your marketing plan.

2 press releases per week - This should be keyword driven and have the keyword in the title and in the body of the press release at least 3-4 times. It's best to try to use quotes at least 2-3 times also.

5 articles per week - These should also be keyword driven. Try not to spend more than 20 minutes per article, and make sure you are sharing value in the article rather than just fluff.

2 blog posts per week!

1-3 videos per week on YouTube, and any other video sites.

2 broadcast emails per month to your list. Make sure you write the email as if it were only going to one person so it sounds personalized.

15 minutes per day on social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter.

1 Squidoo lens per week. Don't spend more than 30 minutes on each lens.

By maximizing your time and your resources, you should have a well rounded marketing strategy in place for your business. You can have traffic coming to your website within days. A great marketing plan for your business is necessary in today's online atmosphere. Don't forget to link your accounts to each other to help drive traffic. This is an important piece of the puzzle that is often missed when developing and setting up your marketing plan for your business.

Negative People....

CUTTING EDGE BUSINESS WITH CUTTING EDGE PRODUCTS

Here is a funny joke I heard about negative people. Enjoy!

Negative People

This is something to think about when negative people are doing their best to rain on your parade. So remember this story the next time someone who knows nothing, and cares less, tries to make your life miserable.

A woman was at her hairdresser's getting her hair styled for a trip to Rome with her husband.. She mentioned the trip to the hairdresser, who responded:

" Rome ? Why would anyone want to go there? It's crowded and dirty. You're crazy to go to Rome . So, how are you getting there?"

"We're taking Continental," was the reply. "We got a great rate!"

"Continental?" exclaimed the hairdresser. " That's a terrible airline. Their planes are old, their flight attendants are ugly, and they're always late. So, where are you staying in Rome?"

"We'll be at this exclusive little place over on Rome's Tiber River called Teste."

"Don't go any further. I know that place. Everybody thinks its gonna be something special and exclusive, but it's really a dump.

"We're going to go to see the Vatican and maybe get to see the Pope.

"That's rich," laughed the hairdresser. "You and a million other people trying to see him. He'll look the size of an ant.

Boy, good luck on this lousy trip of yours. You're going to need it."

A month later, the woman again came in for a hairdo. The hairdresser asked her about her trip to Rome.

"It was wonderful," explained the woman, "not only were we on time in one of Continental's brand new planes, but it was overbooked, and they bumped us up to first class. The food and wine were wonderful, and I had a handsome 28-year-old steward who waited on me hand and foot.

And the hotel was great! They'd just finished a $5 million remodeling job, and now it's a jewel, the finest hotel in the city. They, too, were overbooked, so they apologized and gave us their owner's suite at no extra charge!"

"Well," muttered the hairdresser, "that's all well and good, but I know you didn't get to see the Pope."

"Actually, we were quite lucky, because as we toured the Vatican, a Swiss Guard tapped me on the shoulder, and explained that the Pope likes to meet some of the visitors, and if I'd be so kind as to step into his private room and wait, the Pope would personally greet me.

Sure enough, five minutes later, the Pope walked through the door and shook my hand! I knelt down and he spoke a few words to me."

"Oh, really! What'd he say ?"

He said: "Where'd you get the shitty Hairdo?"

Don't Get Distracted And Lose Focus!

CUTTING EDGE BUSINESS WITH CUTTING EDGE PRODUCTS

With so many different MLM and affiliate programs today, it's easy to take your eye off the program, or company you are already with. Don't get distracted from your network marketing program or you may end up short with your online success story. You need to stay focused to reach your goals with your own MLM or affiliate program that you are part of now. Otherwise, you'll be spinning your wheels trying to work several different programs at one time, never reaching the success you dreamed of.

Chances are, you already have a focus with an MLM or Affiliate program now. If you are finding online success with your current program, you probably don't want to change. However, if you are not happy with your progress, don't like the product or services, not happy with the comp plan, you may want to think about changing. But, don't change just because you saw something else and got excited. We are bombarded with offers to join something new and exciting every day. However, your current program is probably just as new and exciting! Or, at least it was at one time. Don't lose your focus.

To ensure your online success with your MLM or Affiliate program, make sure you keep in contact with your upline as much as possible. Also, do something for your business every day. Plan your day the night before, and fill your day with article marketing, blogging, setting free ads, calling prospects, and doing some videos. Having a plan will keep you on your road to network marketing success. Rediscover why you signed up for your current program in the first place. Was it the marketing plan, the products, or the upline?

Being distracted will only have you doing 10 things at one time, and being totally confused. Then, when you are not seeing online success, you'll want to blame your upline, or the business, but not yourself. If you can stay away from this huge network marketing mistake and keep your focus, you will find your online success with your MLM or affiliate program much faster.
